EKC Sheppey SecondaryWhere belonging meets brilliance
EKC Sheppey Secondary opened its doors in September 2024, ready to nurture every student’s unique spark. Our experienced team, rooted in the community and deeply invested in its success, is here to enable your child to achieve their ambitions. Whether academic or professional specialism, further study or a chosen career, our curriculum is rich, rigorous and relevant and there’s a pathway for everyone.
We’re here to champion mastery (not just milestones); we’ll fuel aspiration and achievement and cheer students on every step of the way. We’re not just opening a school, but forging a learning community where every student thrives… where belonging meets brilliance.

Earlier this term, we had the great pleasure of hosting the Boccia and Curling School Games Event. Six primary schools from across the Swale area came together for a fantastic day of competition, learning new skills and testing their abilities against fellow pupils and staff.
Our brilliant Year 10 and Year 8 Sports Leaders took charge of running the event. Their enthusiasm and professionalism helped create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for all involved.
It was a wonderful day, filled with teamwork, determination and plenty of smiles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and is already looking forward to the next event! 21 Likes
The day was a beautiful testament to unity, perfectly reflecting the Jamaican motto: 'Out of many, one people!'

This is an international tour revolving around promoting Anti Bullying with young people. Students were enraptured by Casey’s personal stories about body image, insecurity, family illness and her own feelings of failure.
Emotions were high as she sang about her love for her brother, her mum’s urges to protect her from peer pressure and her own battle with her changing body.
Year 7 and Year 8 spent the morning clapping, singing and cheering along and were all treated to a signed poster and photo opportunity at the end of the show.
The performance complimented the week’s assemblies all about using our ‘Power For Good’ in line with this year’s Anti Bullying Week focus, along with Friday’s Odd Socks Day. Casey McQuillen posted about her visit on her social media and said, “You guys were SO much fun and such good listeners; I had a great time performing for you!” 20 Likes
